To avoid confusion and better serve our customers, we are now doing business as EBCO. For more information about the history of the company please visit: The EBCO Press Archives
EBCO has successfully marketed and sold the Scott Dutcher Sand Unit (S.D.S.U.) and Shirley lease located in Creek County, OK. The leases were operated by Okie Crude Company based in Tulsa, OK which has been in business since the mid-1980s. The leases are located in Section 2- 16N-10E and hold 560 acres. Monthly net revenue was approximately $3,400/month. The S.D.S.U. is an 82.185 NRI lease and the Shirley an 81.25 NRI lease.
Of note is that Okie Crude Company owner, Tom Atkinson, has been a long-time buyer at EBCO auctions going back to the ‘80s and ‘90s when EBCO was conducting live, oral bid auctions at an auditorium. EBCO owner, Paul Smart, recalls selling properties to Mr. Atkinson while Smart did his bid calling standing behind a podium as auctioneer instead of sitting at a desk behind a computer.
The closing occurred remotely at Mr. Atkinson’s office in downtown Tulsa and at the Arkoma Resources LLC’s (the buyer) office in Henryetta, OK
