This year, The Braden Companies, Inc., based in Edmond, Oklahoma, decided to retire from the oil and gas industry and sell their remaining operated oil and gas leases. The leases are located in Logan County, Oklahoma and consisted of 4 producers and 1 injector. The production was approximately 20 BOPD and 6 MCFD. The working interest were all 100% and the net revenue interests ranged from 80% to 84%.
The leases consist of the Cassidy, Erin, and Tharp and are in the Sooner Trend field in central Oklahoma. Production is from the Layton Zone. The Braden Companies initially purchased the wells in 1999 and have operated them since that time. Recently the company decided to stop hauling salt water from the wells, decided to recomplete the Erin #2 salt water disposal well and now uses it as an injection well for all three leases.
The wells were purchased by another Oklahoma-based buyer for $805,000. Closing occurred at The Braden Companies office in Edmond.
